Trip to South Carolina, Lunch with Debbie's Mom and Brother

These are pictures from "Tony's Pizza" in Andrews, SC where we had lunch with Debbie's mom and brother, David Earl. The beaded craft you see was made by Jacob when he was 8 years old...he gave it to his Granny and she has it on her key chain to this day (it's an alligator).

Trip to South Carolina, 4th of July at our neice Amy's House

The first six PICS are of our neices' kids...Alexis, Kyle, and Dean (the younger one). The adult in the pictures with the kids is their Uncle Donnie...Debbie's brother. The last few PICS are views from our hotel room.

A DAY WITH THE OTHER JOHNSONS

This Johnson couple took Nate, Isaiah, and Arianna to visit with new friends of ours...the other Johnsons (Joe and Candice). Joe is retired from the Army and retired from his second career. Debbie and Rachel met them while working their Eco Quest business. A great couple, full of hospitality. Joe called us today to ask if we were bringing our grandkids over to fish and swim. They have a gorgeous place, as you can see from the pictures. This water-front is only about 25 yards from their front door. We had a great time swimming, fishing, paddle boating, and riding on Joe's pontoon boat.

Matt's Baptism, May 25, 2008

Here are some photos taken at Matt's Baptism. It was a gorgeous day and a blessing to watch as Matt made his public profession of faith in Christ!

Neighborhood Swamp

This is part of what we see across the street from our house when we sit on the porch. We absolutely love it!

Daniel's Graduation Celebration

On May 31st we went to Adams' Family home to celebrate Daniel's graduation from High School. These are a few pictures I was able to get. Also, Angie surprised Tim with a "Shadow Box" in honor of his Navy service. He did not receive one at his formal retirement ceremony so she had it made herself. I think it was more personal this way and it was very heart-warming!

Debbie's/Mom's/Nana's Garden

Since it has been AGES since I posted anything to our blog I had to ask Rachel to re-train me on how to manage it. These are just a few of the many photos recently taken. My honey worked very hard on this garden...creating organic soil from composte to plant the vegetables in. So far it is coming along quite well. Her tomato plants are jam full of bloomin' tomatoes...I can taste that homemade salsa already...with fresh jalapenos from the garden also!!!
This is just the beginning of what I hope will be a continuing effort on my part to keep you all informed of what is happening in our lives. More posts to come soon! God bless!!!
